Alliance Française is a network of French Schools/Cultural centres represented throughout the world.

The different branches of Alliance Francaise reflect a desire amongst local francophiles to share their love of French language and culture with their fellow countrymen.

Teaching activities are complemented by an ambitious cultural policy, which can take on various forms: conferences, exhibitions or even artistic creations or live entertainment.

In Australia the branches of Alliance Française are constituted as a Federation.
